Tap Arrows Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the developer and publisher of Tap Arrows ("Tap Arrows," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Tap Arrows Android game (the "App"). It covers information kept on your device and information that may be processed by the third-party services integrated into the App.
Google Play app name: Tap Arrows: Escape Puzzle (Arabic listing: ألغاز الأسهم: حرّرها). Developer name on Google Play: Heba_@ah. Publisher: Pixelsaa. Android package: com.pixelsaa.taprrows. Website: taprrows.pixelsaa.com.
1. Privacy at a glance
- You can play without creating an account or signing in.
- The App has no in-app purchases or subscriptions and does not process payment information.
- Your level progress, settings, virtual economy, daily activity, Endless statistics, achievements, and unfinished-game state are stored locally on your device. The App does not provide cloud save or cross-device synchronization.
- Core gameplay, including Classic levels, the date-based Daily Challenge, and Endless generation, can work offline.
- Online services are used for advertising and consent management (Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform), analytics, crash reporting, and configuration (Firebase). These services may process technical identifiers and usage data.
- The App does not request precise GPS location. Google services may infer approximate location, such as country or city-level area, from an IP address.
- Optional daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device; no remote push-notification server is used.
2. Information stored locally on your device
The App stores small JSON records in Android app-private storage using SharedPreferences. Resilient backup and pending copies may also be maintained locally to recover from an interrupted write.
| Category | Examples | Why it is used |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress | Highest unlocked level, completed level IDs, best moves, earned stars, achievements, tutorial status, completion/failure counts, session count, and last-played time | To restore progress, unlock levels, calculate stars, and show achievements |
| Settings | Selected language, theme and arrow style; sound, music, haptics, reduced-motion and high-contrast preferences; analytics setting; and reminder preference/permission state | To apply your chosen experience and accessibility settings |
| Virtual economy | Coins, lifetime earned/spent totals, Hint/Undo/Continue boosters, owned cosmetic themes/skins, and bounded transaction IDs used to prevent duplicate rewards | To provide earned rewards and unlock cosmetic items; there are no real-money purchases |
| Daily features | Completed Daily Challenge dates, current/best streak, last-seen date, daily-reward cycle position, and claim history | To provide the daily puzzle, streaks, and seven-day rewards |
| Endless mode | Best/current score, games played, total score, boards cleared, and current-run progress | To provide Endless statistics and resume a run |
| Recovery and app state | Current board state, mode, content ID, run seed, saved time, rating-prompt state, and related recovery information | To resume an unfinished game and avoid repeatedly showing rating prompts |
This local data is not uploaded by the App for account sync because the App has no account or cloud-save system. It remains on the device until it is replaced, cleared, or the App is uninstalled, subject to Android backup/restore behavior controlled by the device or platform.
3. Information processed by Google services
The exact data processed can depend on device settings, region, consent choices, SDK configuration, and whether the device is online.
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and User Messaging Platform (UMP)
AdMob serves interstitial ads at limited natural transitions and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch for benefits such as coins, hints, continuing, or doubling a reward. UMP manages advertising consent and privacy choices where required.
Google and participating ad-technology providers may process:
- IP address and approximate location inferred from it;
- Android advertising ID, rotating SDK/app-instance identifiers, and other device or app identifiers where available and permitted;
- device, operating-system, language, app-version, and network information;
- ad requests, impressions, clicks, rewarded-ad completion, and other ad interactions;
- consent strings and privacy-choice signals; and
- diagnostics, fraud-prevention, security, and ad-performance data.
Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region, consent choices, Google settings, and eligibility. Non-personalized or limited ads may still use IP addresses, identifiers, and similar information for delivery, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and fraud prevention.
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics may process app-instance and device identifiers, general device/app information, approximate location derived from IP address, session and engagement information, and in-app interaction events. Events implemented by the App include first open, tutorial activity, level start/completion/failure/restart/exit, move counts and difficulty, Hint and Undo use, Daily Challenge and Endless activity, streaks, theme unlocks, and advertising events. The App does not intentionally send your name, email address, phone number, payment information, or the full contents of your local save data to Analytics.
Firebase Crashlytics
Firebase Crashlytics may process crash reports, stack traces, error reasons, diagnostic logs, app state, app version, operating-system/device information, installation identifiers, and timestamps. This information is used to identify and fix stability problems. Crash data is collected only when Firebase is available and configured in the distributed build.
Firebase Remote Config
Firebase Remote Config retrieves operational values such as advertising frequency limits and reward amounts. Google may process IP address, app-instance identifiers, and device/app technical information to deliver, secure, and measure configuration requests. The App uses local defaults if Remote Config is unavailable.
4. Why information is used
We and our service providers use information, as applicable, to:
- operate the game and preserve local progress and preferences;
- provide Daily and Endless features, rewards, achievements, and recovery;
- serve, limit, measure, and secure advertisements;
- remember and honor consent choices;
- understand feature use and improve game balance and usability;
- diagnose crashes and technical failures;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and duplicate reward grants;
- deliver safe operational configuration; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on your consent (particularly for advertising personalization and device storage/identifiers where required), performance of the service you request, our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the App, or compliance with law. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it as described below.
5. Advertising consent and your controls
The App requests updated consent information through Google's UMP. A consent form may appear when required by your region or Google configuration. If UMP determines that a privacy-options entry point is required, Privacy choices appears in the App's Settings screen and can be used to revisit available choices.
You can also manage advertising personalization and reset or delete the Android advertising identifier through your device's Google/Ads settings, where available. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal, and some limited technical processing may remain necessary to deliver non-personalized or limited ads, prevent fraud, and measure aggregate performance.
Rewarded ads are voluntary: the reward is offered before an ad request is made, and you decide whether to proceed. Declining a rewarded ad does not block core gameplay, although the optional reward will not be granted.
6. Notifications and reminders
The App may ask for Android notification permission and, if granted, schedule a daily puzzle reminder. It reads the device's local time-zone identifier only to schedule the reminder at an appropriate local time. Reminder scheduling and content are handled on-device; the App does not use Firebase Cloud Messaging or another remote push server.
You can turn reminders off in the App's Settings or disable notification permission in Android Settings. Denying notification permission does not affect gameplay.
7. User-initiated sharing and external apps
If you choose the Share action after a Daily Challenge or Endless result, the App passes a text summary of the result and a public Google Play link to the Android share sheet. The external app or service you select handles that information under its own privacy policy. Tap Arrows does not automatically post the result.
8. Accounts, payments, cloud sync, and offline use
Tap Arrows does not include registration, authentication, a user profile, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or cloud save. The App does not collect payment-card or billing information. Google Play may separately process information relating to downloading or installing the App under Google's own terms.
Classic levels, Daily Challenge generation, Endless generation, and local save data can function offline. Advertising, consent updates, Firebase analytics/crash delivery, Remote Config refreshes, review prompts, and sharing through third-party apps may require connectivity. Information queued by an SDK while offline may be transmitted later when connectivity returns, according to that provider's behavior.
9. How information is disclosed
We disclose technical and usage information to Google and its participating advertising/service providers only as needed for the services described above. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the App, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not directly sell personal information for money. Advertising-related disclosures or personalized advertising may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under some privacy laws. Use the UMP consent form, Google/Android ad controls, or the contact method below to exercise applicable choices.
10. Retention
- Local game data: kept on your device until updated, cleared, or the App is uninstalled, subject to platform-managed backup or restore.
- Support messages: if you email us, we may retain your email address, message, and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- Google service data: retained by Google under its applicable policies and the developer's configured retention settings. Retention periods can vary by data type, service, consent state, and legal requirement.
11. Your choices, rights, and deletion
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; withdraw consent; or receive a portable copy of certain personal information.
You can:
- delete locally stored game data by using Android App info > Storage > Clear data/storage, or by uninstalling the App;
- manage reminders in the App's Settings and notification permission in Android Settings;
- revisit advertising consent through Settings > Privacy choices when that option is displayed;
- manage ad personalization and advertising identifiers in Android/Google settings; and
- contact us at shehab.mohammed.web@gmail.com for a privacy request or complaint.
Because Tap Arrows has no accounts and does not maintain a server-side player profile, we normally cannot identify local game data on your device or remotely erase it. Clearing App storage or uninstalling is the deletion mechanism for that data. Clearing local data does not automatically delete data already processed independently by Google; use Google's controls or contact Google as described in its policies.
If you contact us, please describe your request and provide enough information to locate any support correspondence. We may need to verify the request where legally required, but we will not ask for unnecessary sensitive information.
12. Security and international processing
Local records are kept in Android app-private storage but are not intended for sensitive personal information. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures and select established service providers; however, no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Google may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Its privacy and Firebase documentation describes its safeguards and data-processing locations. Where required, transfers are handled using legally recognized safeguards.
13. Children's privacy
Tap Arrows is not directed to children under 13.
The App does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, account, or user-generated content, and we do not knowingly solicit direct personal information from children. Google advertising and Firebase services may still process the technical data described in this policy. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through the App or a support communication, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
14. Third-party privacy information
For more information about Google's processing and controls, see:
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
- Privacy and Security in Firebase

These third parties control their own processing, security, retention, and user-rights procedures. Their policies may change independently of this policy.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, service providers, or legal requirements change. We will revise the date above and, where appropriate, provide an additional notice in the App or store listing. Continued use after an update is subject to the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.
